Tahun 2016 merupakan Hari Jadi Kabupaten Mojokerto ke-723. Ada banyak kegiatan yang di adakan oleh Pemkab Mojokerto untuk merayakannya. Salah satunya dengan menggelar lomba bola voli antar sekolah/madrasah.
Rabu ( 27/4 ) babak final pun di gelar dengan mempertemukan tim putra SMKN 1 Jetis melawan MA Al-Mustofa Canggu Kecamatan Jetis. Lomba ini di gelar di komplek stadion Gajah Mada Mojosari kabupaten Mojokerto.
Pertandingan tampak sangat sengit karena poin yang di dapat selalu tidak terpaut jauh. Akan tetapi pada akhirnya MA. Al-Mustofa pun berhak menjadi juara 2 dan mendapatkan Piala Bupati Mojokerto, Piagam dan uang pembinaan.

Adapun anggota tim voli putra MA Al-Mustofa terdiri dari Grenda Yoga P, Erik Wibowo, Ferry Ardiansyah, M. Faisal, Deddy Prayitno, A. Ryan Ferdiansyah, dan Achmad Arifin sedangkan pembina Aan Dwi Raharjo.
“Saya ucapkan selamat kepada tim voli beserta pembinanya atas pretasinya tahun ini, semoga ke depan kita lebih baik lagi”, ucap Kepala MA Al-Mustofa, Moh. Muslimin.
Dengan prestasi yang didapat ini semakin mengukuhkan bahwa pembinaan olahraga prestasi di MA. Al-Musthofa tidaklah main-main, karena terbukti dalam setiap ajang pertandingan voli diberbagai tempat selalu mendapat juara. (haris)
